When did deaf history really start?

I was wondering when was deafness was first document in history? When did our deaf world real begin? I would like to start collect all information on that and put them all together and keep add update with it.. same with all deaf film or home film that is made by deaf person or people. Keep them all together for future. We can pass those values of deafness to our future. Our deaf world is not like few hundred years ago. Where all deaf people are shamed to speak in public or stuck to stay hide and build up a private club. Anyway back to my question.."When did deaf history really start?" Before Clerc and Thomas Gallaudet? America deaf history probably start with those 2 men. But When did they really start document about deaf for first time in history in whole world? In bible? When Jesus Christ healed deaf man?...I am open to a discussion

I am curious... Which phone company.. Will make a video phone on cell phone? I know there is V-Pad... But its depend on wireless router.. Not like mobile phone. I am sure most of you already saw movie "star war" when they try communation through visual wave... They can talk and see eachother.. Or be at the meeting through that visual communation phone. When will they make it enable for us in realityqq

I am curious if anyone can tell me all the list of Deaf Film... like Children of lesser God , any film with deafness or sign language in it... I would like to know the complete list.. so that way I can keep it in file... and add up more movies over years.... and hopefully make its a deaf film collection.. I know there is Deaffilm by sprint relay.. they can have their collection sets and mosedeux can have their collection sets too

I want to let everyone what I just saw... I wasn't sure if anyone else saw it too. There is another ASL commercial. Its not any soda commercial or McDonald commercial. Its brand new Commercial it look like the decided to raise their level to next level!!!! I am so thrilled! I am sure all you will be shock to hear this... since over any years we had issues with ASL and AGBELL (Alexandria Graham Bell) about teach children a ASL!!!! I hope AGBELL will shut up about this and leave them alone!!! because its DISNEY COMMERCIAL!!!! I am so thrilled!!!! please help me and show Disney lot of support and encourage!! and THANKS! and Encourage them to keep it up!! I love their commercial.. its so beautiful and pure ASL!

BOB HOUSE and AGBELL

I got a vibes and bad feel.. that AGBELL was really thrilled that most of you missed Bob's House commercial. Plus million more people missed it too. I was wondering if all of us can write a letter to Pepsi and request them to make it a repeating commercial for television. So that way we can build up a more deaf awareness toward more people around world.

I wish they could show it DURING Super bowl... so that way million people will recognized ASL!

I am interest getting a new web cam... I am curious what is all of your advice which webcam is best for vlog and others things like chat with other web cam, relay vrs?..... the one that draw my attention is Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000... I am curious what is everyone's opinion? because I notice some vlog is burring or not clear while others vlogs is very clear... fine picture quality. Again I was hope that you can helpful and make a good suggestion for me... thanks

What is Deaf?

I am curious... I have been read several blogs and watch several vlogs for past few days. I am so curious.. what does the word "Deaf" really mean? Reason I asked.. look at this.. www.dictionary.com ... their define for word "Deaf"....–adjective

1.	partially or wholly lacking or deprived of the sense of hearing; unable to hear.

2.	refusing to listen, heed, or be persuaded; unreasonable or unyielding

I am curious what your define of that word? How would a deaf person like yourself define a word "deaf' in your own word?

Other question about deafness... I am open this question to everyone.. to share their opinion.....there is no wrong or right answer to this question.... How much of deafness or knowledge or experience ... should be classification "deaf enough" to be ASL teacher and Deaf Leader and Role for Deaf community?

Deaf Baby Toys/ AVT

I have hearing daughter... I never have any trouble find toys for her. But I have several friend who have deaf babies. Or Deaf family... they always have trouble find deaf friendly toys for their child. Or toys with very limit lights... They wasn't impressed with the toys.I dont think its fair to deaf babies... that hearing babies can get more benefits more education through variable of toys and get advance with their vocabulary plus allowed them to learn sign language? While Alexandrian Graham Bell wont allowed deaf babies learn sign language? I am curious if any one have come up with a solution? I was wondering is there a legal reason why there is no toys that have too many lights? for safety reason? I just want to help other deaf or hearing people to provide a best for their deaf child because they are our future deaf leader. I don't want this hearing world to overthrow deaf world away or replace us with "AVT"!. DEAF ROCKS!

What does SWCID mean to you?

I am curious what is everyone's opinion about SWCID ( Southwest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf). What does it mean to you? What do you know about SWCID? What kind students should go there? What is their reputation? I wont be offense with all of your comment or opinion. Like I said I am open to anything. I want to hold my story until after I read all your comment or opinion. Deaf School VS Public School

I have noticed that more Deaf people become more successful...when they come from Deaf school... while deaf students who attend public school seem stressed try find their identify..who are they. What kind job fit them the best. Other things I noticed .... students from public school seem have lack of social skills or less athletic.. compare students from deaf school have better social skills and have more opportunity to involved in sports, academic bowls, all others clubs and activity. While students from public school are limited to very few or to none.. but do you know whats so funny...... all deaf student who go to public school that have ASL club... all deaf students are automatically a member of ASL club!. I think they should close all public school or charter school for the deaf... and forced all deaf children go to their deaf school in their state... or MSSD if they dont have deaf school in their state. MSSD(model secondary school for the deaf) should limit them self to accept only students from state with no deaf school first.

I noticed that there is more more deaf film making... but I am curious when will they finally put it in movie theater for hearing people to watch... I know people will said its "deaf film" I know that. Reason I asked because of money issues.. if hearing people watch it and they pay to go and see it... we will get profit and use that money to make other deaf film... without have trouble ask for too much donation from deaf community. I did and will sent money donation.. but I was wonder if it would make things easier on Producer?
